RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PASSENGERS
- Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time.
- Carry all necessary documentation, such as passports and permits required for border crossing.
- Check the baggage policy in advance and make sure you are within the established allowance.
- Dress comfortably and in layers, as the weather can change quickly in Patagonia.
REQUIREMENT PRIOR TO TRAVEL: CHECK-IN and delivery of CRUCE ANDINO TICKET
Mandatory: Complete the check-in no later than 48 hours before the travel date. This process allows for the verification of the data required by the migrations and guarantees the delivery of the Cruce Andino ticket.
Instructions for Check-In:
1.Online Option (Priority):
Passengers should send a scan of their passport, ID, or travel document to the following mailing addresses, depending on their point of departure:
- Start of the trip in Puerto Varas: checkinchile@cruceandino.com

2.Procedure in Person Option (Last Resource):
If it is not possible to complete online check-in, passengers must report to the office with their travel documents no later than 48 hours prior to departure. Check-In Offices:
- Puerto Varas: Del Salvador 72.
- Bariloche: Mitre 150.
Important: Passengers who do not complete check-in, either online or in person, by the specified deadline will not be permitted to travel, in accordance with immigration regulations.
Data Required for Check-In:
The information on the reservation must match exactly the information on the travel document (the same document you will be using to enter the country).
- Origin of the trip and whether it is done in one or more days.
- Full name and surname (as it appears on the travel document).
- Gender.
- Date of birth.
- Nationality and country of residence.
- Type and number of travel documents.
TRIP CONDITIONS
- Cruce Andino operates every day of the year, except on May 1st (Labor Day) and during mandatory election days in Chile.
- All rates are rack (commissionable), per person and expressed in US dollars.
- All trip times are for reference only and may vary depending on season (summer or winter), number of passengers, and weather conditions. Also, the location where lunch is scheduled to be served may change depending on the operational needs of the day, and the itinerary may extend due to customs formalities required when crossing the border.
- The Company reserves the right to change rates and departure dates without notice.
Resident and non-resident round-trip fare policy:
- Resident passengers (Chilean or Argentinean): The fare corresponds to a one-way ticket, with the return (same route: Vicente Pérez Rosales pass) included and free of charge. If the return trip is not made, the amount paid will not be refunded.
- Foreign passengers: The round-trip fare includes the price of the round-trip ticket, which is 50% of the original cost of the ticket.
Additional conditions:
Port tax in Puerto Pañuelo, Argentina:
- The fare does not include the port tax in Puerto Pañuelo*.

- Payment of the boarding fee in Puerto Pañuelo is done exclusively at the port itself due to local regulations, managed directly by the port's administration, and not by the companies that operate the transport, such as Cruce Andino. This ensures proper control and registration of park entrance fees.
Entrance fee to Saltos del Petrohué, Chile:
- The rate does not include the entrance fee to the Saltos del Petrohué.**

- The visit to the Saltos del Petrohué from Chile to Argentina will depend on the season of the year and the climatic and operational conditions.
- The visit to Saltos del Petrohué from Argentina to Chile is not considered, due to the closing time of the National Park
CHILDREN AND INFANTS POLICY
- Infants (0 to 23 months): Free of charge, without the right to a seat or checked baggage; they may only carry personal items.
- Children (2 to 11 years old): They pay 50% of the adult fare and are entitled to one piece of luggage according to the same policies as adults.
- Children over 12 years old: Pay 100% of the rate and are considered adults.
- Documentation, including any required exit permits, is required for all minors making the crossing
CONDITIONS OF THE TRIP WITH ACCOMMODATION
- Rates: All rates are rack (commissionable), are expressed in U.S. dollars, and are subject to confirmation upon availability.
- Includes: The rates with accommodation include one night in the Hotel Natura and/or in the Hotel Puerto Blest, in the room of your choice, with breakfast included.
- Round-trip option:
- Includes only one night's accommodation, on one leg (ow or rt), which must be specified at the time of booking.
- We recommend staying at both hotels (Hotel Natura and Hotel Puerto Blest) for a complete experience.
- Additional nights: Subject to availability, additional nights may be added. Please request a quote in advance.
- Special accommodation: A quote must be requested for special accommodation, family accommodation, upgrades, or special groups
- Type of accommodation:
- Single: 1 passenger.
- Double: 2 passengers.
- Triple: 3 passengers.
- Children's rates: Children aged 2 and older are considered to require an additional bed.
BIKE&BOAT CONDITIONS
- When hiring Cruce Andino Bike&Boat only the lake legs of the trip are contracted.
- Overland sections must be completed by passengers on their own bicycles.
- The suggested season for Bike&Boat is September through April.
- The maximum number of cyclists per group is 20.
- All passengers must have their own bicycle and be present at each port 30 minutes prior to departure.
- The Bike & Boat rate does not include the transfer of luggage or the support vehicle (in the Villa Peulla - Puerto Frias leg), if required, please ask for a quote.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR DIRECT PASSENGERS
- Up to 16 calendar days prior to departure: 100% refund will apply.
- Between 15 and 8 calendar days before departure: 50% refund applies.
- The refund will be processed through the same payment method used for the purchase.
- Please allow 15 to 30 working days for the refund to be processed.
- Up to 7 days prior to departure: no refund is applicable.
Change Policy:
- You are allowed to make one change without penalty, provided there is availability for the new selected date.
- o If more than one change is requested, an additional fee of US$25 will be charged for each new modification.
LUGGAGE
- Passenger luggage is always received or delivered with the means of transportation.
- One piece of baggage weighing up to 23 kg (maximum dimensions: 158 linear cm) and one piece of carry-on baggage (such as handbag or purse) are allowed free of charge.
- Carry-on baggage is the responsibility of each individual passenger. Its dimensions must not exceed 45 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm (height x length x width).
- Any baggage that exceeds the dimensions or weight allowance is considered excess baggage and must be transported with the rest of the baggage.
Extra baggage:
- Includes any additional bags, suitcases, or carry-ons.
- They must be declared at check-in.
- An additional US$25 will be charged for each additional item or for each item exceeding 23kg (maximum 32kg).
- The luggage will be identified with a tag and will be in charge of Cruce Andino during the entire journey.
- Passengers will not have access to luggage during the trip.
- All travel documents must be carried in the carry-on baggage as the main baggage will not be delivered until the final destination, therefore all travel documents must be carried in the carry-on baggage.
- Safety on catamarans and buses: Catamaran and bus safety: It is important to keep the aisles of both boats and buses clear to ensure safe and unobstructed travel. This includes preventing hand luggage or other objects from obstructing the way, thus reducing the risk of accidents or falls. In addition, this measure is essential for operational safety and is one of the reasons why carry-on bags are not allowed as personal baggage and must be shipped as checked baggage.
- Damaged luggage: In case of damage or loss of luggage, it is mandatory to fill in the special form upon arrival at any of the terminals. If this form is not filled, the company is not responsible for damaged or lost luggage once the tag has been delivered and removed.
- The company's liability is limited to the baggage itself, as the contents are not declared.
- Compensation: Compensation of up to US$70 will be provided for damage or loss of luggage in transit.
FORCE MAJEURE
Cruce Andino may delay, cancel, or modify the trip for reasons of force majeure, including extreme weather conditions, security problems, government regulations, strikes or other unforeseen events, exempting the company from liability for not fulfilling the contracted service
In such situations, if the service is in full operation, passengers will be given the opportunity to reschedule their trip at no additional cost. In addition, the Company agrees to make all reasonable efforts to find an alternative route or solution, if feasible.
The Company is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the passenger due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure: accommodation, meals, flights, transfers, or any other expenses directly or indirectly related to these events
It is important for passengers to pay attention to notices of changes or cancellations and to contact the company to coordinate any necessary adjustments to their itineraries.
