What is Cruce Andino?
Cruce Andino a unique trip worldwide that sail through the Andes Mountains by 3 wonderful lakes, connected by 4 land sections; It intertwines Argentina with Chile by two National Parks (Vicente Pérez Rosales and Nahuel Huapi), between Bariloche and Puerto Varas.
What is the price of a Cruce Andino ticket?
The ticket price per adult passenger (over 12 years old) is in dollars and starts at US $325 per person and US $253 for Chilean and Argentine residents.
What is the duration of the Cruce Andino?
The Cruce Andino is an international route that connects Puerto Varas in Chile with Bariloche in Argentina, with a travel time of approximately 12 hours between the two countries.
What is included in the Cruce Andino ticket?
The ticket covers all land and lake segments of the journey. However, it does not cover accommodation in Puerto Varas or Bariloche, lunch (approximately US$25 per person), extra activities, or entrance fees to the National Park (approximately US$8 per person).
Does the Cruce Andino ticket include accommodation in the destination city?
The Cruce Andino ticket does not include accommodation.
Does the Cruce Andino include food?
Food is not included in the service. However, we provide cafeteria service on two of our catamarans. Additionally, lunch is optional and costs US$25 per person. This service is available at the Natura Hotel, situated in Villa Peulla.
Is it possible to complete a round trip of the Cruce Andino in 1 day?
Due to the duration of the journey, completing a round trip of the Cruce Andino in 1 day is not feasible. Therefore, we advise considering at least 1 night's stay in the destination city. We recommend a minimum of 2 nights to fully enjoy the activities each city has to offer.
What are the requirements for traveling with my child?
Passengers traveling with minors under 18 years of age must carry the following immigration control documentation:
  1. Identity card or passport.
  2. Family Book or Birth Certificate (which includes the names of both parents).
  3. If the minor travels with a third party, they must have notarized authorization from the father or mother who is not traveling with them, or from both parents
Can I do the Cruce Andino in my vehicle?
It is not possible, our fleet is only capable of transporting passengers and bicycles.
What luggage is permitted, and how is it handled during transport?
Each passenger is permitted one piece of luggage weighing up to 23kg, with dimensions not exceeding 158 linear cm, at no additional cost. Additionally, passengers may carry hand luggage, such as a bag or purse. Any extra luggage beyond this will incur an additional fee of US$25 per suitcase. Throughout the journey our company takes care of your luggage. It's important to mention that you will hand your luggage over at the beginning of the journey and it will remain in storage until we reach our destination. Therefore, you must be sure to carry all travel documents with you in your hand luggage.
Is the “Cruce de lagos” the same as the “Cruce Andino”?
Yes, the Cruce de lagos is an expression that is previously used in a general way. The Cruce Andino refers specifically to this tourist route that navigates the Andes Mountains through lakes linking Puerto Varas in Chile with Bariloche in Argentina, or vice versa.
Can I travel with my pet?
Although tourists with dogs or other pets are not allowed to enter the National Parks, there is an exception in the case of guide dogs and companion dogs that meet the requirements of each country.

Are there hotels in the middle of the Cruce Andino?
Yes, you can live a unique experience in 2 locations: Puerto Blest (Argentina) and/or Villa Peulla (Chile). Incomparable places to enjoy nature, before reaching the final destination. Both hotels have a unique view, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and lots of nature, for this reason, either option is interesting.
What is the best time to do the Cruce Andino?
Any time of the year works! If you prefer warmer weather, we suggest planning your trip between October and March. For those who enjoy cooler temperatures, we recommend traveling between April and June. And if you're eager to experience snow, July to September is the perfect time for your adventure.
Does Cruce Andino operate on the dates when i wish to travel?
Cruce Andino operates every day of the year from Chile to Argentina. From Argentina to Chile it operates every day of the year, with the exception of the 1st of May.
Do i need to fill in the form with the information for immigration?
Cruce Andino is an international tour that crosses the border between two countries, at which point all travel documents must be presented. This information must be completed prior to arrival at the border to facilitate a pre-check-in of all passengers and to speed up the immigration process, so that your tourist experience is not affected.
